March For Life

March For Life - January 22, 2007

His Beatitude, Metropolitan Herman, and other hierarchs and clergy once again lead Orthodox Christians for Life at the annual March for Life in Washington, DC on Monday, January 22, 2007.

The annual event mourns the legalization of abortion in 1973 and affirms the sanctity of human life at all stages of development.

Meatfare Sunday Dinner 2006

Children Host Spaghetti Dinner

St. Vladimir Church's school children hosted a spaghetti dinner for the parish on Meatfare Sunday. The dinner was part of the children's education in the ministry of joyfully serving others. The children helped prepare and serve the meal to over fifty people. The event also raised money to help finance the Sunday School. Over $500 was raised.

Pre-New Year's Youth Dance 2005

On December 30, St. Vladimir Church hosted a Pre-New Year's Youth dance for the local New Jersey Orthodox Churches.
